Take a cooling bath at home

Summer is coming to an end but of course, before this wonderful season ends, it deserves a proper farewell. What a better way to say good bye to this season is by taking a cooling bath in your house. Everyone did enjoyed having fun outside; whether it was sunbathing, grilling or even just playing with your friends. Now that summer is finally ending, you do everything you can before it ends, doing so would definitely tire not just your skin but also your body and a good way to relax is doing these few bath recipes. Well, you can still do this if you are missing the most fun season of the year but this is just a proper way to end it. Let us get to it, shall we? Here are bath recipes that would cool you down before summer ends.

Cucumber and Lemon water bath: It kind of sounds like a detox water that you drink so that you can have glowing skin, right? But you can also soak in them. Cucumber is cooling especially if you have been out for the whole day; it also contains potassium and Vitamin C which helps rejuvenate your skin and it can also increase the production of collagen and elastin that makes your skin look younger. Lemon also has a few benefits to your skin. It helps remove harmful toxins out of your skin; it also helps relax your muscles especially when you were swimming the whole day and it evens out your skin tone. Just remember to do this at night because it would make your skin a little sensitive and doing this during the day could irritate your skin instead of helping it relax.

Aloe Vera, oatmeal, milk, honey, and mint essential oil bath: This sounds like a good meal right? Well, maybe you can mix oatmeal, milk and honey for breakfast. It would be weird if you add aloe vera and mint essential oil in it. But that is not the point of this blog, aloe vera, and mint essential oil, along with oatmeal, milk, and honey are a good recipe for a cooling bath. Milk contains lactic acid which gently removes dead skin cells of your skin. Oatmeal is also gently exfoliates your skin, just remember to grind them into a fine powder before adding to your bath and just a cup of it will be fine. Honey is a natural remedy for skin irritation and it leaves your skin smooth and silky, just add 3 to 4 tablespoons in your bath. Mint essential oil helps your skin feel cooled down and it also helps with congestion. And of course, Aloe Vera this plant is very well known for its ability to cool down your skin. So if you forget to apply or reapply your sunscreen (please always apply sunscreen, it would lessen the skin damage you get under the sun) adding aloe vera to your bath would help soothe your irritated skin. Do not forget to rinse off after taking this, you do not want ants biting you after this taking this very sweet bath.

Citrus peel, Epsom salt and green tea bath: Green tea is not just good for drinking it also benefits your skin. It is rich in antioxidants that would help your skin appear younger, it soothes your irritated skin and since it is rich in antioxidants, it would lessen the appearance of fine lines. Just add 4 to 5 tea bags in your bath water and you are good to go. By now, you know the benefit of Epsom salt, right? It is good for relieving sore muscles and it is good in removing harmful toxins from your body. Citrus peel any citrus peel; lemon or orange would be good since it has vitamin C that would help increase the production of collagen, which would make your skin smooth and glowing. Just let these 3 ingredients soak in your bath water for 8 to 10 minutes and scoop the citrus peel and green tea out of it before plunging in yourself. Letting the citrus peel and green tea soak in the bath water with you would make you skin irritate more instead of helping it heal.
