With all that is happening to the world, all you want do at home is take a bath and relax. Nothing is relaxing about a dirty house especially a dirty bathroom. So before you prepare a bath, or hop in the shower you have to clean up. Having a clean bathroom will enhance your relaxation. It will also get rid of unwanted germs. Here are a few steps and tips on how to clean your bathroom. You do not need to worry because everything in this post is easy to do and very accessible.

First is removing all objects in your bathroom. That means take out everything: shampoo, conditioner, shower curtains, rugs, all of the things that can be moved, put them outside the bathroom before you clean. This will make it easier for you to scrub the tiles, your tub and your toilet.

Next is clean your bathroom tiles, you won’t have to buy miracle cleaning products. Just put 3 tablespoons of baking soda to ½ up of ammonia, if ammonia is not available in your household, bleach will also do. Pour this solution all over your tiles, scrub it and always remember to wear cleaning gloves because ammonia and bleach can harm your skin. Rinse your tiles after doing so and wipe them. Your tiles are now squeaky clean.

After cleaning your bathroom tiles, next is your toilet. Cleaning your toilet might be disgusting but you better clean it than use a dirty toilet. Pour bleach into your toilet bowl and use a toilet brush to clean the inside of the bowl. Use a sponge or a scrub to clean the outer are of your toilet bowl and then rinse. If you feel like using a toilet brush or sponge is a little icky, you can do a cleaning toilet bomb. You won’t have to touch your toilet. All you have to do is add a tablespoon of dish soap to a cup of baking soda. Mix them until the consistency is like kinetic sand. Mold it and let it dry. Once it is dry, just toss it in your toilet and let it fizz. When it’s done fizzing, flush your toilet and your toilet will be clean.

Next is declogging your drain and scrubbing your sink. Hair might have gotten stuck inside your drain so better clean it for better water flow in your sink. A trick that some people use they stick a wire inside the drain and it scoops out the hair and all the unwanted dirt in it. But it is better to pour baking soda, vinegar, and hot water in to your sink. This will easily remove the hair and unwanted dirt that is clogging your sink and you will not have to suffer from pulling them out of your drain. Scrub your sink by just using dish soap; some people will add a tablespoon of vinegar for a cleaner effect. Do this and your sink will be clean and disinfected.

After cleaning your sink and declogging your drain, the next step is cleaning your tub, this part of the bathroom in the easiest one to clean. Just add ž cup of baking soda, Ÿ cup of lemon juice, 3 tablespoons of salt, and another 3 tablespoons of dish soap and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Put this around your tub, scrub and then rinse. You can also use this solution for tile cleaning. It is very efficient and it will save you time from mixing more solutions to clean part of your house separately.

Tub cleaning is done and you are almost finished cleaning your whole bathroom. The last one to clean is the showerhead and faucet. If you are using your showerhead most of the time, minerals may have clogged the holes. One trick you can do is soaking your showerhead in white vinegar. This will dissolve the minerals that are stuck in your showerhead. Your faucet can get rusty, if this happens, rub tomato ketchup all over it and let it soak for at least one hour. Tomato ketchup will remove the rust. Wipe your faucet and you are done.
